The Girls Raising The Bar Scholarship Fund is designed to recognize and reward exceptional talent in various creative disciplines, including but not limited to visual arts, performing arts, literature, design, and multimedia. We understand the unique challenges that young girls may face in pursuing their creative aspirations, and we are committed to providing financial assistance to help them overcome these obstacles and turn their dreams into
reality.
Selected recipients of the Girls Raising The Bar Scholarship Fund will receive financial support to cover tuition, fees, and other educational expenses. In addition to the monetary award, scholars will have the opportunity to connect with mentors in their chosen field, attend exclusive workshops, and participate in networking events to enhance their skills and broaden their horizons.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Identify as female
- Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a four or two-year institution or trade school in the U.S. or U.S. territories
- Be between the ages of 17-19
- Demonstrate a strong passion for and commitment to a creative field (art, music, journalism, marketing, design, communications, culinary, cosmetology or film, etc.).
- Must be a U.S. resident or citizen
- Exhibit academic excellence and a dedication to personal growth.
- Submit a compelling application that includes a portfolio showcasing your creative work, a letter of recommendation, and a 500 word essay choosing one of the topics in the application form.
